O my God, did You ever wake up on Monday and still feel like You needed a nap? With all You packed into three years of ministry, I’m sure You did. Yet Jesus, You handled Your world then; You can handle mine today. Good morning! Because, OMG, when I share it with You, it is.
Just read your Flower Power…I love the array of flowers that are put on the market. My problem is I know when it’s time for Fall when I start getting tired of all the watering and deadheading. I don’t like the feeling of guilt when I have a day that I don’t feel like watering especially the flowers in the pots and window boxes. My really only causality of the season was a cucumber plant that didn’t like being in a pot!!! I need to give it a decent burial. The other is a Mosquito plant that I kept alive all winter…I haven’t the heart to throw it away but I do water it. All I know is that next Spring I will patiently wait for the new crop of flowers because they are one of God’s beautiful creations and they give so much pleasure!!!
Hahaha, I have plenty of plants that need decent burials! I finally threw out poinsettias I’d nursed along for years. Scraggly things–they seem to inspire my black thumb.
We grow tired of pampering them, but aren’t flowers wonderful things! How God figured out all those varieties never ceases to amaze me. One more evidence of His beautiful imagination!
Thanks for commenting, Nora, and may your flowerbeds be blessed!
