O my God, we had 18 college freshmen and two sophomore leaders in our home yesterday. Twenty college students, all with beautiful bodies, ice-cream-cone eagerness, and shiny-Cadillac minds. What fun! Thanks for Your reminder that I can still dream dreams (Joel 2:28). And that someday, through Jesus, we will all outshine each other!
O my God, I rose early to write, grabbing clothes quietly so I wouldn’t awaken the hubs. Slipped into the kitchen to make extra-strong coffee. Discovered only then that I’d grabbed a sandal and a tennis shoe. Tried to read my Bible. Upside down. OMG, Monday came too early.
O my God, I have never been good at doing laundry. How can you entrust the Kingdom of God to someone who tangles hangers into clumps and tie-dyes underwear? Still, you love me. And that’s good to know on a Monday.
