OMG, It’s Monday! Prayer: the Low-Tech Planet, Please

OMG, I thank You for forward leaps in technology. However, when You introduce me to my heavenly home, I pray its appliances won’t beep at me. That only You, not Google, can track my preferences and movements. And that the most technologically advanced task I will have to accomplish is closing a Ziploc bag.

Hahaha, Angie, so true! Though believe it or not, I experience difficulty in both opening and closing those. But what would you expect of a person whose longtime waitress always opened my salad dressing packet, both out of kindness and because she didn’t want a mess on the floor?

Blessings on you and your Ziplocs, and thanks for your comment.

Good to know that I’m not the only one tired of everything beeping. Went outside the other day for some tech-free quiet, and someone was backing up on construction equipment. You guessed it. Beep. Beep. Beep.

Ack. Kim, the problem is, I remember when appliances didn’t push people around. When cars and trucks kept their advice to themselves. I agree that silence is golden–it we can only find some.

May you enjoy a quiet, beepless day. Blessings, and thanks for your comment.
